Humanism is a way of life based on shared human values. Because Humanists do not rely on the existence or help of a supernatural power, we believe that it is up to us to make sense of our lives through living responsibly and caring for other human beings, our community, and our environment, not just for us here today but also for future generations.
'East Kent Humanists' is a local group of Humanists who meet regularly for talks and discussions on topics of shared interest. We meet each month except August and December, normally in a venue at the University of Kent in Canterbury on the third Sunday of the month. We extend a warm invitation to you to come and meet us.
